Indigenous People Art

Our class has been learning about different indigenous people that lived in North America including 5 different Native American groups. These groups were the Woodlands, Plains, Southwest, Northwest, and Far North. We had a great time making a craft that reflected their cultures.  We made dream catchers for the Woodlands, buffalo hide paintings for the Plains, sand paintings for the Southwest, totem poles for the Northwest, and sun masks for the Far North.

We all had a great time, and I was amazed at the crafts we produced. Thanks to the help of my room moms and aides that came in, it was an amazing success.
